Kit Car News

General Motoring News

The club was formed in the mid 1980's by 3 enthusiasts living in Redcar, Cleveland. The first meeting was held in the Cleveland Bay pub in Redcar where it was decided to search out as many local kit car owners as possible to expand the club into an organisation capable of putting on a good display of cars at local events.

The first 3 cars in the club were a Triumph based Spartan, a Ford based 2+2 Spartan and a Triumph based Moss Monaco.

The initial committee were very successful in expanding the membership, outgrowing various venues such as Rushpool Hall, Saltburn and Redcar Rugby Club before going into decline during the late 1990's.

Fortunately, like the Kit car industry, the club has seen a turn around in its fortunes and is now thriving again at its new venue, The Pathfinders, Maltby.

A wide variety of cars are owned within the club, most of which you can find details of by following the club cars link at the top.
